Getting Started with Intervy

Sign up, name your organization, check your free credits, and learn how to invite your team.

Intervy is a structured-interview platform. You define job roles, levels and competency matrices, then run each job position through a pipeline of interview phases to help assess candidates consistently.

  • Build a job framework — roles, levels, and a competency matrix that describe what "good" looks like at each level.
  • Run multi-phase interviews — interview phases in stages, interview templates and feedback forms to give interviewers shared questions and a rubric.
  • Use Ivy, your AI co-pilot — draft questions and interview templates, and summarize a candidate's CV.
  • Publish a careers page — on Starter and higher, publish careers.intervy.ai/<your-org> to take inbound applications.

Prerequisites#

Walkthrough#

Step 1 — Create your account#

Open app.intervy.ai/signup and continue with Google, GitHub, or Microsoft. If you have no pending team invitation, Intervy creates a personal organization for you automatically, with you as its Org Admin. See Signing In and Joining Your Team for details.

Step 2 — Name your organization#

Your organization's name, URL slug and contact email live on the Organization Settings page. It has no tab under Settings, so open it directly at app.intervy.ai/org/<your-org>/settings/org, where <your-org> is the part after /org/ in your browser's address bar. On Starter and higher, members with access to Communications and organization settings can also reach it from Settings → Communications with Edit in Org Settings.

On the Organization card, edit the Name field and select Save. Your published careers page lives at careers.intervy.ai/<slug>; change the Slug field the same way. A slug is 2 to 48 characters long and uses only lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens.

The Contact email field on the same card starts with your sign-up email. Automated candidate emails use it as their reply-to address; emails sent on behalf of a teammate prefer that teammate's address. It also fills {{org.contact_email}} in your email templates. Change it to a shared hiring inbox if you have one.

Step 3 — Invite your team#

Select Members in the sidebar. Type the email address into Email address, pick a role — the form starts on Interviewer when your plan has a free interviewer seat — and select Send Invite. The invitation expires after 7 days. To reset the expiry, open the row's action menu (⋯) and select Re-send invitation. To share the link of a pending invitation yourself, select Copy invite link from the same menu.

Invitees receive an email with a link to the invitation. Before signing in, they see who invited them and, when you assigned one, their role. Then they accept. After they accept, they appear in the members list with the role on the invitation. See Signing In and Joining Your Team.

Step 4 — Check your credit balance#

Open Settings → Billing with organization or billing management access. With credit-viewing access, the Credit balance card shows your current balance, including any remaining welcome credits. Your personal organization can receive 300 welcome credits once per email address. You can spend credits on Ivy. With billing management access, use Buy credits to purchase a pack.

Troubleshooting#

"Name is too short to generate a valid slug" — You're creating an additional organization whose name produces a URL slug shorter than 2 characters. Use a name that produces at least two letters or numbers in the slug.

"This invitation has expired. Please contact the organization admin for a new one." — Invitations are valid for 7 days. Re-send the invitation from the Members page to issue a fresh link.
